On May 12, 2021, The Chicago Tribune reported on the charges of improper conduct taking place at American Friends of the Israel Sport Center for the Disabled in an article titled, "Deerfield man pleads guilty to stealing as much as $831,000 from North Shore children’s charity, blowing it on trips to Ireland and Las Vegas, golf outings and Bulls games." For this reason, we have issued a High Concern CN Advisory on American Friends of the Israel Sport Center for the Disabled. For more information regarding the charges reported, please see The Chicago Tribune article.
The concerns raised about illegal activity, improper conduct, or organizational mismanagement are serious both in nature and scope and have thus warranted this CN Advisory. We have published this advisory to provide donors with content that they may find useful when making their giving decisions.
