The Big Fix Uganda

Mission

Through a One Health approach, The BIG FIX works to improve the health and welfare of animals and people through education, veterinary service, and animal assisted interventions. This work is carried out primarily in the impoverished communities of Northern Uganda in Gulu City, and the districts of Gulu, Oyam, Nwoya, Omoro, Amuru, and Pader.

To be the leading organization in Uganda in creating better health and welfare for animals and people and greater respect and kindness for all living beings.

Goals

1.Improve Mental Health of Trauma Survivors through The Comfort Dog Project
2.Reduce the Incidence of Cases of Animal Cruelty and Neglect through Education
3.Eradicate Rabies from Geographic Areas where The BIG FIX Uganda works through provision of free vaccinations, education, and emergency response.
