Mission

THE MISSION OF THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR VICTIMS OF CRIME IS TO FORGE A NATIONAL COMMITMENT TO HELP VICTIMS OF CRIME REBUILD THEIR LIVES. WE ARE DEDICATED TO SERVING INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITIES HARMED BY CRIME.

Vision

We envision a society that prioritizes the safety and healing of communities, responds to the needs of all individuals harmed by crime, promotes victims’ rights and engages in advocacy for systems change to reduce crime and its impact on victims and their families.

Goals

1.NCVC seeks to increase its direct services to individuals impacted by crimes by expanding our current hotline, victimconnect.org, to 24/7. This will allow us to serve over 10,000 victims each year.
2.NCVC seeks to increase access to services by communities of color and marginalized communities and decrease barriers and disparities in services provided.
3.NCVC will increase and diversify funding streams so that we can take on more projects for which we do not receive grant funding.
