The fund is involved in research in the medical field, promoting and development in the medical science in variety of fields, as well as, provide service to medical projects for the benefit of the Rambam Hospital as well as the general public.The Fund is an organization actively involved in providing medical care in conjunction with the Rambam. Medical Center. The Rambam Medical Center is one of ten public hospitals owned and run by the government of the State of Israel. The Rambam Medical Center (the "Hospital") and the other nine governmental hospitals are under the strict supervision of the Ministry of Health of the State of Israel, as such, the Hospital's budget is closely controlled by the Ministry of Health as it is difficult and time consuming for the Hospital to obtain authorization to make additional expenditures and provide additional services to the community because of the very tight budget constraints of the State of Israel.The Fund obtains most of its support from supplyi
