TO ADVOCATE FOR FARMERS, RANCHERS AND OTHER LAND-BASED PRODUCERS; PROVIDE EQUITABLE ACCESS TO FRESH, LOCAL FOOD; OWN AND OPERATE A YEAR-ROUND VENUE FOR THE SANTA FE FARMERS' MARKET; AND MANAGE PROGRAMS TO HELP SUSTAIN A PROFITABLE, LOCALLY-BASED AGRICULTURAL COMMUNITY.

Goals

1.Increase food security by providing enhanced access to SNAP/Double Up Food Bucks, Fresh RX, WIC and similar programs to low-income shoppers. At the Del Sur market, provide additional resources.
2.Increase market vendor ability to grow, prepare and sell their products through use of microloans to implement more effective practices, and branding and marketing strategies to enhance sales.
3.Implement listening sessions with women farmers/ranchers to learn how to better support them. Develop a soil testing program to help vendors enhance their soils, and as a result, improve yields.
