What are this organization’s external mobilizaton efforts?
Much of our work relies on partnerships and we are actively and regularly working with a range of partners to coordinate our efforts in the sector. All of our eight programs work with a partnership model to share in a range of operational and strategic initiatives such as funding, staffing, research, thought leadership, and advocacy. For example, one of our programs, the Newcomer Navigators works with nearly a dozen local and county-wide organizations to host one-stop-shop days that bring newcomers together to access a broad range of services, organizations, and benefits all in one place. This model works with the County Government, other local non-profits, legal support, local schools, and legal aid.

Our work changes regularly due to shifts in federal, state, and local policy and the shifting groups of newcomers who are arriving in our community. However, our core mission and activities do not change and we evolve to meet the new and shifting dynamics of the sector. Over the last year we've served more and more newcomers from Ukraine, South and Central America, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, largely because there are large numbers of folks coming to Cleveland from those backgrounds - for us this means we have to hire and train new staff who speak these languages and understand these cultures.
