Quivira Coalition Inc.

Mission

The Quivira Coalition fosters resilience on arid working lands. To create a culture of land stewardship that integrates ecological, economic, and social health, we work with ranchers and farmers, landowners and stewards, public agencies, tribal groups, conservationists, educators, students, and the public. We believe this culture is rooted in education, innovation, and collaboration at the radical center, a way of working together that champions coalition building and results over compromise.

1.Expand the availability of agricultural apprenticeship opportunities, normalizing apprenticeship as a pathway to careers in regenerative agriculture.
2.Deploy carbon-beneficial practices on ten percent of New Mexico rangelands.
3.Continue to grow a community of practice around regenerative land stewardship with our open source resources, including land health workshops, technical guides, podcasts, and an annual conference.
