The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati

Mission

Founded in 1919, the Children's Theatre of Cincinnati (TCT) is the oldest professional theater for young audiences in the country. The mission of TCT is to educate, entertain and engage audiences of all ages through professional theatrical productions and arts education programming. Today, TCT brings art to life through three divisions: TCT MainStage, TCT on Tour and TCT Academy. Through our MainStage and touring productions as well as our Academy performing arts instruction for children ages 2-18, we reach over 200,000 people annually.

Our vision is to awaken a lifelong love of theatre in children and the young at heart.

Goals

1.Continue offering ticket subsidies to all schools attending a TCT MainStage production.
2.Through bold programming, exceptional experiences, and strong community connection, TCT will become the #1 destination for family arts and arts education in the region.
3.Continue to work with, and expand, partnerships with local school districts to provide arts integration activities that complement their curricula.
