As we look to the future, we remain dedicated to expanding our hospital partnerships and leveraging strategic relationships to make our programs more effective and far-reaching. Through innovative fundraising and a continued commitment to transparency, we are determined to maximize every dollar given to create lasting change.

Goals

1. 1.Expand access to BDF’s four core programs—Dream Experiences, Financial Assistance, Hospital Activities and Community Events—so we can serve more children and young adults ages 0–29 battling cancer. We will deepen our impact in current markets, strengthen hospital partnerships and responsibly expand into communities where significant needs exist.
2. 2.Strengthen BDF’s infrastructure to support sustainable growth and responsible stewardship. Priorities include investing in experienced leadership, staff development, technology, financial oversight, data collection and program evaluation. These investments will improve efficiency, accountability and our ability to demonstrate measurable impact to donors and partners.
3. 3.Develop a scholarship program for young people whose cancer experience has disrupted their education or career plans. This new initiative will address an unmet need identified among the children, adolescents and young adults BDF serves, helping eligible Ballers pursue college, technical training or other educational opportunities as they move forward after treatment.
