Vision

Macon Pride believes in educating our community, celebrating our diversity, commemorating our history, and liberating our people in the Middle Georgia region.

Goals

1. 1.Modify programming to make sure Macon Pride becomes a year-round model, focused on providing more opportunities for Middle Georgia’s LGBTQIA+ community to gather and grow together regularly throughout the year, not just one week in September.
2. 2.Create a Trans-Advocacy Committee and special event programming to foster more inclusion within the Trans Middle Georgia Trans community.
3. 3.What will never change is our commitment to advance unity, visibility and self-esteem among LGBTQIA+ persons and our allies and to promote a positive image in the Middle Georgia area through community activities and service. We won’t stop fighting for equality and recognition. We won’t stop caring for one another and advocating for love over hate. We won’t stop believing in inclusion.
