Mission

The Orange County Bird of Prey Center (OCBPC) is a volunteer organization dedicated to ensuring a healthy raptor population for generations to come. We do this by focusing on three areas: Education: the best long-term solution to prevent and mitigate many of the dangers that raptors face; Rehabilitation, the treatment and care of injured raptors; and Release: returning them to the wild

Vision

A world where all children in the future will see a Red-Tailed Hawk soaring free over Orange County California

Goals

1.OCBPC continues to improve its current facilities to provide the best possible rehabilitation facilities for raptors. As part of our next capital improvement will be a pre-release flight enclosure with turns (either L or D shaped) which forces turns while flying.
2.Increase the number of interpretive programs at Title 1 schools served by 10% annually.
3.Build an on-site amphitheater to promote engagement with the public. Once built, secure funding to transport school children to presentations on-site.
