At Nature and Culture International, we envision a world where vibrant ecosystems and the diverse cultures that have coexisted with them for millennia thrive together in harmony. In this world, the rich mosaic of life in Latin America's biodiverse hotspots is protected and connected, providing a refuge for plants, animals, and people alike. We see a future where local and Indigenous communities are stewards of their ancestral lands, leading global efforts to preserve and restore nature. Our vision is a planet where healthy landscapes provide clean air, fresh water, climate stability, and cultural vitality, ensuring well-being for all generations to come.

Goals

1. 1.Focus on protecting >50% of the natural habitat and building out long-term integrated management plans within 14-18 large, highly biodiverse eco-regional landscapes
2. 2.Scaling up existing successful conservation models, particularly transboundary connectivity corridors and REDD+ implementation plans
3. 3.Increase visibility of programmatic sustainability by building buy-in for conservation, collaborate with national ministries, and monitor vital signs through mutually-supportive governance models
