Mission

The AjA Project is a compassionate space for young people, activists, visual artists and educators to engage critically with issues that affect our community and realize our collective liberation through participatory storytelling and the documentary arts.

Vision

AjA's work is grounded in the power of photography and visual arts as a tool for all youth, regardless of their backgrounds. We hope to support youth in seeing themselves as agents of change, capable of positively transforming their communities through a grassroots, creative process.

Goals

1.We will expand our current programs to reach further historically underserved youth in our neighborhood.
