THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE OF INDIVIDUALS AFFLICTED WITH BLINDNESS AND TREATABLE CATARACTS BY PROVIDING MEDICAL CARE, EDUCATION, LEGAL SERVICES AND RELATED FACILITIES TO DESTITUTE WIDOWS AND ORPHANS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATIONS GOAL IS TO FOSTER WORLDWIDE UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORT OF THESE PROGRAMS.
