Mission

OHIO CITIZEN ACTION EDUCATION FUND INFORMS ORGANIZES AND MOBILIZES PEOPLE TO ADVOCATE FOR PUBLIC INTERESTS ACROSS ISSUES AND CAMPAIGNS. IN PERSON, BY PHONE, AND ONLINE, WE ENGAGE PEOPLE IN ACTIONS THAT PROTECT PUBLIC HEALTH, IMPROVE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY, AND BENEFIT CONSUMERS. OUR CAMPAIGNS CONNECT OHIOANS AND BUILD A MOVEMENT TO PROTECT DEMOCRACY AND CREATE A SUSTAINABLE AND EQUITABLE FUTURE.

1.Expand field canvass operations to Columbus as soon as possible. Field work is invaluable to our public education and organizing efforts and we must have a presence in the capital.
2.Conduct voter registration and get-out-the-vote efforts in 2022 and beyond. Participation is a key to better government and Ohio's government is getting worse, not better.
3.Invest in training for supervisors, executive coaching & adjusting salaries to harmonize with non-profit sector norms. Also, investing in diversity, equity and inclusion among staff, board & donors.
