Vision

Through the investment of individual funds made up of gifts, endowed funds, and bequests, interest is distributed as grants. Through these grants to charitable organizations, we are often the first to address new and emerging needs that are most important to our area. By preserving and nurturing the growth of our assets, we strive to enhance, enrich, encourage and support the Defiance County Community.

Goals

1. 1.We will grow and expand existing programs by strengthening partnerships, increasing funding through targeted campaigns, and leveraging technology for greater accessibility. By enhancing outreach efforts and streamlining processes, we’ll reach more people. Continuous evaluation will help us improve efficiency and scale programs, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of the Defiance community.
2. 2.We will focus on core programs by prioritizing those that align with our mission and deliver the greatest impact. Through data-driven evaluation, we’ll strengthen high-impact initiatives and scale back non-core programs. By reallocating resources and collaborating with partners, we’ll ensure our efforts remain mission-focused, sustainable, and effective in serving the Defiance community.
3. 3.We will invest in our organization’s capacity by building a strong financial foundation through diversified funding streams, endowment growth, and donor stewardship. By enhancing operational efficiency, upgrading technology, and providing staff development, we’ll strengthen our ability to deliver impactful programs and ensure long-term sustainability for the Defiance community.
