Vision

IDAA envisions recovery for all health care professionals and their families impacted by substance use disorders.

Goals

1. 1.Identify company that allows IDAA to host virtual meetings within our member portal, ensuring membership to attend and encouraging community engagement on the platform.
2. 2.Create opportunities for Family Recovery Members to regularly engage in IDAA outside of the conference. Create materials that better meet the needs of the IDAA community, not only Al-Anon. A CE session at the conference addressing the impact of addiction on families is strongly encouraged, contingent on the availability of a qualified speaker or relevant research.
3. 3.Develop standard practices for virtually hosted IDAA meetings including opening scripts, virtual opportunities to give, announcements, etc. Provide clarity on the difference between the IDAA Conference and Caduceus meetings.
