    THE PURPOSE OF THE SOCIETY SHALL BE TO PROMOTE, ENCOURAGE AND IMPROVE THE CONDITION OF AGRICULTURE, HORTICULTURE, POMOLOGY, INDUSTRY, SCIENCE, ART, HOUSEHOLD ECONOMICS, PUBLIC SCHOOLS, AND TO PROMOTE THE BETTERMENT OF OUR COMMUNITIES WITHIN SUMMIT COUNTY, AND THE STATE OF OHIO.
