Heart of Indiana United Way

Mission

The Heart of Indiana United Way looks to improve the quality of life in our five targeted communities by engaging people and organizations to advance education, financial stability and access to quality health care. Heart of Indiana United Way was established in July of 2021 when two organizations, the United Way of Madison County (which also serves Fayette County) and the United Way of Delaware, Henry & Randolph Counties, joined forces to transform and improve more lives in Indiana.

Vision

We focus on the most important human needs by building partnerships, forging consensus, fostering collaboration, and leveraging resources. We believe in a system of caring built from the rich diversity and gifts of all people.

Goals

1.Creating brighter futures for the next generation by helping children reach their full potential by starting school ready for Kindergarten and reading at grade level by 3rd grade.
2.Building stronger families through financial stability, support networks, and healthy lifestyles.
