We envision a world where everyone has a place to call home and is welcomed into a community that values kinship, radical love, compassion, and where they are reminded of their worth.

Goals

1. 1.Salt + Light’s central goal this year is to prioritize core programs aligned with our mission—permanent supportive housing at The Neighborhood Village and impactful social enterprises. We will intensify impact by focusing resources and energy on the programs most essential to achieving its core mission: fostering belonging, dignity, and sustainable community for people experiencing homelessness.
2. 2.We'll strengthen Salt + Light by diversifying revenue, growing profitable enterprises, and deepening donor ties. We'll enhance management through targeted leadership training and clear roles. Technically, we'll boost efficiency by adopting better systems, data tools, and streamlined operations.
3. 3.We’ll scale The Neighborhood Village by expanding locally, replicating the model in new communities, and launching a training initiative to teach others across California how to build similar villages rooted in belonging, dignity, and sustainable care.
