(THE ORGANIZATION) IS A DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FORMED IN 1961 FOR THE PURPOSE OF FURTHERING EDUCATION IN THE FIELD OF FUNERAL SERVICE, FORMULATING STANDARDS OF FUNERAL SERVICE EDUCATION, AND GRANTING ACCREDITATION TO QUALIFIED INSTITUTIONS AND PROGRAMS FOR FUNERAL SERVICE EDUCATION.
