THE ASSOCIATION IS DEDICATED TO MEETING THE NEEDS OF MUNICIPALITIES IN THE AREA SOUTH OF CHICAGO, IL. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY POOLING RESOURCES FOR JOINT PURCHASING, EDUCATIONAL EFFORTS, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND VARIOUS OTHER ISSUES COMMON TO ALL SOUTH SUBURBAN MUNICIPALITIES.
