    Mission

    Between Friends is a nonprofit agency dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence and building a community free of abuse. We envision a community without domestic violence where all relationships are equitable, safe, and just. Between Friends works tirelessly to empower people who have survived abuse. We also educate young people and adults across Chicagoland about domestic violence. Between Friends helps adult, teen, and child survivors of domestic violence to recognize that their experience is shared. We realize, and encourage others to realize, that the problem of domestic violence is social and political.
