Mission

Our mission is to ensure that Chicago seniors and people with disabilities benefit from nutritious home meal and pantry programs, critical social interactions, and health and wellness support that improves their quality of life and maximizes independence.

Goals

1.Make sure that all seniors assessed and brought into the program are served the quantity of meals necessary to go without hunger and be sure there is no waitlist.
2.Based on increased food cost and inflation we launched a food pantry called Nourish Chicago Pantry on the SW side. The food is grocery quality fresh produce, proteins and shelf stable essentials.
3.During the pandemic awareness of our services increased and in response we have raised our budget to allow for more people with disabilities to receive home delivered meals.
