Goals

1. 1.NAMI CCNS ongoing support groups led by lay facilitators provide continual structure for people and family facing mental illness. Our Family to Family class provides education and training for parents with adult children with mental illness and our Ending the Silence program educates high school students. We focus on maitaining and expanding these programs.
2. 2.Young adult mental health issues have reached epidemic proportions. NAMI CCNS is adopting and expanding Go Lime Green to reach more high school students to eliminate the stigma of mental illness and to provide mental health and suicide awareness. We have also expanded our support groups to provide ongoing support after the Family to Family classes.
3. 3.NAMI CCNS provides monthly webinars on mental health topics, along with contuing to attend resource fairs and participate in ongoing community mental health advocacy. This goal focuses on expanding our education programs in the community and increasing our integration with other agencies with simlar goals and culture.
