We believe every person deserves access to the resources they need to overcome systemic barriers so they can achieve their ambitions.

Goals

1. 1.The number of permanent supportive housing available in Chicago does not come close to meeting the demand for the 20,000+ people who are unhoused. Therefore, we plan to add 60-70 units of affordable, permanent supportive housing in Chicago through partnership with Interfaith Housing Development Corporation.
2. 2.Chicago Lights Tutoring has a 60-year history of supporting thousands of 1st-12th graders, in low-income households, through one-to-one tutoring and mentoring. In 2025, Chicago Lights will assess current activities and outcomes then develop a new Theory of Change and design strategies to deepen impact.
3. 3.Through the development of a new client relationship management system and skills gained during a 9-month leadership cohort in strategy, program alignment, impact, and measurement, Chicago Lights will advance as a data-driven organization with clear goals and outcomes that drive impact for participants.
