Mission

- To build No Kill communities – starting with a No Kill Chicago – that respect and value the life of every cat and dog. - To end the overpopulation of homeless animals through solutions, practices and education. - To transform animal welfare by setting higher standards in the way animals are treated and developing a sustainable, solutions-based model.

Vision

Our founding mission has been to build No Kill communities, starting with a No Kill Chicago. Through our comprehensive No Kill model, we are transforming the cage-and-kill status quo into a resourceful community where each homeless pet is treated as an individual and given life. Once our community is in a No Kill equilibrium, we will expand this vision to ensure that all pets in our community not only survive but thrive.

2.Our second pillar of Animal Health and Behavior means we are rescuing, treating and rehabilitating more homeless pets in our state-of-the-art Medical Center.
