Mission

Snow City Arts inspires and educates children and youth in the hospital through the arts.

Snow City Arts will be widely recognized as the definitive arts and education experience for children and youth in hospitals.

1.Snow City Arts is committed to providing opportunities for young people in the hospital to engage in both learning and artmaking. Over the last few years, in recognition of the extreme rates of burn out among health care workers, Snow City Arts launched an award-winning short-term program (3 years) to support Nursing Wellness, Art Breaks. Our work on this project is concluding.
2.Working at the intersection of health, education, and the arts throughout Covid had a dramatic impact on our organization. We are re-building our staff, building new relationships with hospital partners due to their turn over, and onboarding new Board Members. Further, we are tightly managing our finances as Covid Relief support expires and we invest our own funds in programming.
3.We are working with a new Marketing firm and we are in the midst of a Strategic Planning process.
