Hunger Relief International

Mission

HRI is a global NGO working to improve the lives of children & families facing extreme poverty. Our mission centers on building resilience, combating hunger, and fostering family unity & self-sufficiency. We address complex needs of vulnerable populations, particularly children & women, through holistic programs in nutrition, healthcare, education, water, sanitation, hygiene, psychosocial support, etc. By equipping at-risk mothers & orphaned youth with skills for self-reliance, including small business training, vocational education, & micro-grants, we empower families & communities to thrive independently.

Vision

Hunger Relief international aims to spearhead actions so that children and families living in poverty have their fundamental needs fulfilled. We advocate a holistic, sustainable, and environmentally sound approach to these actions, that will lead to more equitable access to nutritious food, education, clean water, healthcare, sanitation and safe living environments. We envision a world where girls and women especially understand their rights and where society respects those rights by giving them voice and decision-making power in their lives, homes and nations.
