Hindus for Human Rights Inc.

Mission

We advocate for pluralism, civil and human rights in South Asia and North America, rooted in the values of our faith: shanti (peace), nyaya (justice) and satya (truth). We provide a Hindu voice of resistance to caste, Hindutva (Hindu nationalism), racism, and all forms of bigotry and oppression.

Vision

Our vision is a world defined by lokasangraha (the universal common good) — where there is peace among all people, and our planet is honored and protected.

Goals

1.The short five years that we have been established, we've already grown at the speed of trust, working across coalitions and with many partners - rare for a Hindu organization. We seek to continue our growth in becoming the go-to Hindu organization for those interested in learning about the loving and inclusive form of Hinduism we promote.
2.As we have a five year history, one of our goals is to increase our staff and institutional capacity. We are prioritizing hiring a development director and utilize a new client relationship management database.
