JOY+US FOUNDATION

Mission

Founded by sports journalist, Holly Rowe, Joy+US is a nonprofit organization created to spark joy in the lives of those who need it most. After a Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma diagnosis, Rowe has become a tireless advocate for cancer research and prevention. During her journey with cancer, she started keeping a daily joy journal to record the little moments that made her absolutely happy. Joy has kept her going through the most difficult times in life. Now, Joy+US aims to create that same feeling for others.

Vision

To bring joy to the lives of cancer patients, survivors, and their families. Empowering individuals to find strength, support and meaning during live’s most challenging times.

Goals

1.To deliver meaningful joy-centered experiences to individuals and families affected by cancer through curated events, care packages, and community support.
2.Scholarship Program - Alex Wilcox Memorial Scholarship - Annual $10,000 scholarship to softball players who have been impacted by cancer. Helping them pursue education and personal growth while honoring their resilience.
3.JOY Journey Seminars - A Transformative experience that teaches people how to find and cultivate Joy - especially during life’s hardest moments.
