    Marion Medical Mission

    Mission

    MMM seeks to share the love of Christ with the extreme poor in Africa by providing all in need with a sustainable source of clean, safe drinking water. To build a well, the village makes the brick and provides the sand, stone, and unskilled labor. MMM supplies only what the villages cannot: the cement, Mark V galvanized steel pump, PVC pipe, and skilled African labor. A Marion Medical Mission well is sustainable because it is a well the extreme rural poor know how to maintain and can afford to maintain. Since 1990, Marion Medical Mission has built over 53,000 wells, providing over 5 million of the extreme rural poor in Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, and Mozambique with a sustainable source of safe drinking water.
