THE MISSION OF PEORIA ZOOLOGICAL SOCIETY IS TO SUPPORT PEORIA ZOO, WITH THE GOAL OF CREATING CONNECTIONS THAT INSPIRE AN APPRECIATION OF THE NATURAL WORLD. PZS FULFILLS THIS MISSION THROUGH CAPITAL FUNDRAISING, HOLDING FUNDRAISING EVENTS, AND MANAGING THE MEMBERSHIP DEPARTMENT FOR PEORIA ZOO.
