Coburn Place Safe Haven

Mission

Coburn Place offers compassionate support and safe housing choices for survivors of domestic violence and their children. We specialize in fresh starts - letting survivors lead the way in creating their own paths forward. We serve everyone - cisgender, transgender and nonbinary survivors. We have transitional housing at our historic building in Midtown Indianapolis, as well as in our community-based housing program. Breaking the cycle of abuse creates stronger people, stronger families and - ultimately - stronger communities.

3.We have received substantial grant awards (including $1.6M from the Lilly Endowment Inc.) to help build capacity. We added key staff positions, upgraded IT, and invested in robust accounting software.
