    Mission

We create a world of “YES” for medically fragile children & their families; and we won’t quit! A Rosie Place for Children is a state-of-the-art respite facility designed for medically fragile children ages birth to 21 years and is a place of belonging for them that is safe and nurturing. A medically fragile child requires medical intervention for everyday living. They typically suffer from a variety of serious medical conditions that require round-the-clock care by their parents. Registered nurses provide clinical care for these children while they stay overnight for a “sleepover” so that their parent(s) can have a much-needed break to rest, recharge and reconnect. Parents are physically, emotionally, and financially depleted by the daily, overwhelming demands of providing this intense care for their child. Without some type of relief, the stress of caring for these children 24/7 negatively impacts the overall health of the family.
