Foundations Preschool of Washtenaw County

Mission

To provide equitable access to high-quality care and education prepare children for future academic and social success and strengthen families through opportunities for professional, personal, and parental growth

Vision

To be the preschool that best understands and satisfies the education, social, and emotional needs of Washtenaw County's children and families.

Goals

1.In the future, we envision no longer being Foundations Preschool, but instead, just Foundations - a fully capable support resource for the financial, emotional, social, and professional development of the entire family unit. We strive to maintain our exemplary childcare services while expanding our holistic family services with workshops, a parent committee, and better resources.
2.While we are concerned with all avenues of access, financial access is the most pressing. We are always striving to provide more scholarships to more families. We were recently able to expand our sliding-scale tuition, resulting in more families receiving in-house tuition assistance eligibility. Expanding our tuition assistance is essential as we strive for equity.
