    The United Methodist Community House (UMCH) is a non-profit agency based in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a mission to increase the ability of children, youth, adults and families to succeed in a diverse community. The history of the UMCH can be traced back to 1902 when a group of Methodist women came together to do settlement work. Through the years, the program was expanded to meet the growing needs of the community. Today, UMCH is truly a place where the community gravitates for its daily necessities. The UMCH collaborates with area agencies to offer a range of family friendly programs, from childcare to family and senior programs.
