Vision

A culture of opportunity whose foundation is accessible, centrally located housing, to enable IDD adults to part of the Traverse City community and not exist apart from it.

Goals

1. 1.Our average new constituent is a younger (18-34) male who tends to avoid social contact, employment and is often somewhat adverse to authority or social norms. Our existing clients may be a person with an observable disability and new clients tend to shun being labeled. New program is focused on creating relationship with male leaders (staff, volunteer) ,who provide role modeling and support.
2. 2.Creation of more one bedroom and single occupancy housing options for adults with disabilities. The purpose is to provide privacy and independence in a setting that offers support, affordability and opportunity for interaction and community.
3. 3.BrickWays primary goal must always revolve around relationship development with clients to support independence and skill development to sustain housing, independence and social connections.
