The Book Industry Charitable Foundation’s mission is to strengthen the bookselling and comic retailing communities through charitable programs that support employees, owners, and their families.

The foundation was imagined and built by booksellers and proudly continues to be their safety net. It is our vision to be a caring community of book and comic people.

Goals

1.Launch a bookstore business incubator pilot program to support historically underrepresented entrepreneurs in communities impacted by systemic racism.
2.Add access to mental health counseling in response to the results of a biannual survey of our community.
3.Implement a new donor management system to improve efficiency, increase transparency and reduce fundraising costs to better position Binc for growth with a focus on scalability.
