Mission

The mission of the Detroit Police Athletic League (Detroit PAL), in partnership with the Detroit Police Department and community volunteers, is to help youth find their GREATness through athletic, academic, and leadership development programs.

Vision

All Detroit PAL programs are founded upon and teach the GREAT model of inspiring and building leaders of tomorrow today. We do this through: 1. Goal Setting 2. Resilience 3. Embracing a Healthy Lifestyle 4. Accountability 5. Teamwork

Goals

1.Detroit PAL aims to improve and expand our current programming to serve more youth, including youth sports, youth enrichment, and community policing programs.
2.While growing programming, it is essential that the organization has the capacity and staff to plan and execute all programs at a high level.
3.Detroit PAL continues to grow our program offerings. We aim specifically to create new opportunities for girls to participate and for our "With Cops" programming, which brings together youth and police officers.
