Mission

Our mission is to “Inspire, engage, and empower people to volunteer and make a positive impact in our communities.” Through innovative programming and 55+ local nonprofit partnerships, the Volunteer Center is a community resource that helps people discover their power to make a difference. Our core programs, such as The Hub, Get Connected, Do Good Bus, Kindness Project, and Camp SuperHero, provide access for community members who seek meaningful purpose-driven volunteer opportunities. Our programs are all designed to engage, educate, and empower volunteerism, first by providing awareness of the needs in our community and then by helping match people to the needs that match their available time, talent, and interests.
