Leadership and Empowerment - Foster inclusive environments where individuals can develop skills, advocate for equitable food and agriculture systems, and drive community-led solutions. Technical Assistance - Support farmers access to federal and state programs.
2.Research Advance Alternative and Perennial Crops - Expand research on alternative crops to diversify cropping systems Strengthen Soil Health Science and Services - Grow MFAI’s soil testing and fertility expertise Employ Innovative Action Research - Use a participatory, bottom-up research model Connect Research to Communities and Supply Chains - Link on-farm trials to local food systems
3.Policy Coalition Building - Organize coalitions in regenerative subgroups we already engage with Drive Policy with Research - back farmer stories with data Innovate Political Strategy - Confront the influence of money in politics by strengthening democratic practice Storytelling- Develop multimedia campaigns and storytelling to prepare advocates
