COVID 19 restricted our ability to raise funds via our fundraising event programs. During 2020, most of our in-person events were cancelled to ensure we were aligning with CDC guidelines to protect our donors.

In addition to the restrictions that impacted our event offerings, we were also limited in our outreach and connection to individual donors as we continued cultivation and engagement. In person meetings were halted and we implemented a virtual meeting structure.

In response to the restrictions on in-person events, we developed a virtual event structure that allowed us to engage our donor population and share program information as well as raise funds in an electronic environment.

The virtual event environment we developed offered many benefits that we plan on continuing moving forward. The virtual environment allows participation across geographic locations as well as provides ease of access.
