Basic Needs uplifts those who have encountered hardship by providing barrier-free access to basic needs via our nutritious and fresh food market, affordable and high-quality thrift shop, and social services referral network to build a stronger community focused on equity, inclusion, and sustainability.

Goals

1. 1.Define and achieve measurable increases in key performance indicators (KPI). We will implement a KPI scorecard to track program effectiveness and engagement. This data-driven approach ensures our core programs deliver high-impact results while maintaining the lean, cost-conscious spending patterns established during our 2024 transition to growth.
2. 2.Increase efficiency by refining current processes and workflows. Building on our "volunteer-managed, staff-supported" model, we are optimizing operations to support programmatic expansion. This includes refining day-to-day management of the Thrift Shop and Food Market to increase service capacity while creatively subsidizing operational costs.
3. 3.Achieve targeted percentage revenue growth through diversified funding. We will evolve our corporate sponsorship program and strengthen our fundraising infrastructure by launching a new CRM to identify and segment donors. This allows us to build deeper relationships with individual donors, ensuring long-term sustainability and growth.
