ANIMAL-ANGELS FOUNDATION

Mission

Animal-Angels Foundation (AAF) is a prevention-first animal welfare nonprofit serving Jefferson, Shelby, Blount, St. Clair, Walker, Bibb, and Chilton counties in Central Alabama. AAF keeps families and their pets together by funding the upstream programs that stop shelter surrender before it starts: free spay and neuter access through SNIP, crisis stabilization through The Bridge, family retention through the Pet Help Desk, and partner network coordination through the Animal Welfare Resource Network (AWRN). Most pet surrender begins before the shelter. AAF is the layer that catches it. Prevention is the missing piece. We do not compete. We connect.

2.Build the Animal Welfare Resource Network (AWRN) as the operational coordination layer connecting shelters, rescues, vet clinics, landlords, and community organizations. Target: 25 active partners across 7 Central Alabama counties by end of Year 2, scaling to multi-state coverage by Year 3. First out-of-state partner signed April 2026.
3.The Prevention Partner Program is financial capacity infrastructure. Building a recurring revenue base from monthly donors is exactly the kind of "financial capacity" the option language describes. Year 1 target of 50 individual + 5 corporate giving $41,100 annually is organizational financial-capacity building.
