Our vision is a Minnesota where all pets live in safe, loving homes.

Goals

1. 1.Established in 1952, we have remained relevant and impactful for over 72 years. We pivot when needed to examine best practices and programs that meet the changing needs of the animal sheltering landscape and the changing needs of the people and pets we serve. We prioritize evaluating programs, continuing ones that meet our mission, adding programs when our community presents a consistent need.
2. 2.Pet Haven is focused on responsible, sustainable growth. The organization's growth is an important part of our ability to have a larger, life-saving, and changing impact on Minnesota pets and the people we help.
3. 3.Pet Haven has prioritized financial health and sustainability. We have a trust that will support our physical facility for years. We have an investment account for significant gifts to build sustainability. We are primarily volunteer-driven, with over 600 volunteers, and have carefully invested in growing staff support to better support the organization. We ensure up-to-date systems to support.
