The Des Moines Art Center (DMAC), opened in 1948, presents thought-provoking exhibitions and educational programs, as well as hands-on studio art classes. The DMAC works to be a leader in the field by contributing to the cultural record. We serve our community by engaging people with art, emphasizing the art of our times through our collection and exhibition policies.
