Our Mission Neighborhood Centers work together with neighbors and neighborhoods to build better futures through education, outreach, and inclusive programs that celebrate diversity, strengthen families, and create safe spaces for community. Our vision is to build vibrant communities where everyone feels supported, connected, and empowered to thrive. ​How We Shine Together: Safe: We create an environment where everyone feels comfortable expressing themselves, fostering trust, inclusion, and open communication. ​Healthful: We prioritize physical and mental well-being by providing resources and support for a healthier, more resilient community. Inclusive: We celebrate diversity, breaking down barriers to build a united, culturally rich, and cohesive community. Neighborhood- level: We empower individuals to take pride in their community by offering hubs of hope, positivity, and meaningful programs. Engagement: We form strong connections with residents, organizations, and businesses to better understand and address community needs. Our Promise "A Safe Space" We started in a small apartment—a warm and welcoming place where neighbors gathered, kids found safety after school, and families shared meals and activities. Today, we’ve grown to four centers and five school programs, but our heart remains the same. Every space we create is a place where you are welcome, supported, and encouraged to grow.
