Vision

The David M. Carmines Memorial Foundation was established by The Carmines family with a mission to serve the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton community while honoring their son. Through our annual Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival, we work to make a difference in our home and pay tribute to those who have come before us - while sharing some of the best seafood on the Island! Each and every ticket we sell helps to provide funds for non-profits that benefit our beloved Lowcountry, offer meaningful experiences rooted in Southern hospitality, and bring people together with a shared love of seafood. We are proud and humbled to be part of this vibrant community; giving back has never tasted better.

Goals

1. 1.Our goal is to raise funding for various non-profits in Beaufort County that better our medical research, child and youth programs, provide additional support for wildlife and more. At the core we wish to have these partnerships strong and served each year so as to continue on into two decades of economic and philanthropic impact.
2. 2.Each year we work to create a week-long culinary and wildlife festival that drives tourism to Hilton Head Island, Bluffton and the entire county. We hope to expand our offerings, hotel room nights and the reach we have. These events allow us to raise the funds we need to give back while also making an impact on our delicate food and beverage industry during a very slow time of year.
