Vision

Guardian Angel’s vision is a strong community, free of poverty, racial disharmony, and crime. And, until then, to continue to be a beacon of hope in a city with urgent community needs and limited resources.

Goals

1. 1.Improve the physical and emotional well-being of community members by connecting them to health resources and wellness education. - Lifelong learning programs & events - Health, digital, financial & advocacy support for older adults - Early literacy & STEM hands-on learning - Early intervention & family support for developmental delays - Tools for parents to foster learning at home & community
2. 2.Foster belonging and inclusion by creating spaces that encourage community voice, reduce isolation, and ensure that all individuals can fully engage. - Build a Community Hub to bring together services from partner agencies - Strengthen & expand member participatory model - Create social & volunteer opportunities for older adults - Increase access for immigrants, refugees, & underserved groups
3. 3.Grow and diversify funding to strengthen programs and ensure long-term sustainability. - Grow foundation/corporation support to rely less on gov't funding - Increase revenue and community engagement through events - Deepen relationships with major donors through personalized outreach and engagement. - Build a steady base of recurring donors - Encourage planned giving and grow the endowment
